About MaKayla K. Galloway
MaKayla's Soccer Statement
I am MaKayla K Galloway, Class of 2026, and I play forward for the ECNL Michigan Hawks Magic in Livonia, Michigan, and was named to the U15 Midwest All-Conference Second Team. I am known for being the fastest U16 player and having excellent cross passes. As a freshman, I made Cass Technical High School girls' varsity soccer team and was a starting forward. During the 2023 high school regular season, I led the Michigan Girls’ High School Soccer regular season Division-1 in assists and was in the top five in scoring. I am involved with Jack and Jill of America and serve on the Teen Leadership Conference committee. In addition, I’ve worked as a certified soccer referee and volunteered as a trainer for a Detroit girls’ youth soccer club. My career aspiration is to study Nursing in college. Soccer has been one of the best things that has happened to me; meeting new people and playing different levels of competition has been a dream come true, and my goal is to continue playing soccer for a college team.
